A founder-led engineering project, not a large company

Equipment and batteries fail quietly when no one is watching them. A stored vehicle comes back with a dead battery. A piece of equipment sits in a yard until someone notices it will not start. A backup battery only gets checked after it has already failed. Sentinel began as an attempt to actually address that problem instead of just living with it.

What started as a working prototype has grown into the beginning of a broader platform, but the project is still small and founder-led: built through real hardware, real code, and real field testing, rather than a large engineering organization. That is also why this site is careful to describe things as they are, prototype and field-testing stage, rather than as a finished product.
